Tea Party for an 85th Birthday

On February 1st 2010, my Grandmother turned 85 years old. 85!! Can you image all of the history she has seen, been around the time of and been through since 1925?!?!

Things Like

The Great Depression
Rampage of Bonnie and Clyde
Marilyn Monroe's Time
She lived the same time as Anne Frank
She was alive for Amelia Earhart's last flight
World War II
Japan surprise attack on Pearl Harbor
Atomic bombing of Nagasaki
The Beatles
Kennedy assassination
Martin Luther King Jr.
For the first time in history, an American human being sets his foot on the Moon
9/11 terror attacks
Vietnam War
Operation Iraq Freedom
and so so much more

SO for my grandmother 85th birthday, I wanted to throw a party that would be extra special, and something she would really remember! I threw her a Tea Party Birthday Party! Tea, Derby hats, roses and pearls. HAHA. It was so neat, and she really enjoyed it!

Here are some pictures from the event hee hee, with a few extra things thrown in. ENJOY!
