I’m such a last minute decorator. Before Holidays get here I normally succeed in putting out like 2 or 3 decorations and then the day before the holiday I’m normally digging decorations out of the basement in an attempt to at least look like I’m not a complete slacker. haha
I don’t decorate a ton for Easter but Easter is when I get into my Spring decorating and it’s kinda of my push to start planting flowers, cleaning up the patio and it jump starts my spring cleaning.
We’re having Easter dinner at our house this year so I figured that today (the day before Easter haha) would be a good time to get the house in order.
I finally got the patio cleaned up, put out some new flowers, cleaned out the hanging flower pots and planted some Gerbera daisies in them. I did buy a pretty blue and pink hydrangea for the table but thanks to my black thumb as far as gardening goes it’s pretty much already wilting. I think it may have gotten a little too much sun yesterday morning.
So about the Spring Subway Art… I has originally grabbed a different one from a craft blog and had stuck it in my frame on the table in the living room. It was really pretty but I kind of wanted one that was all my own. So I sat down this morning and made this one. I like it a lot better than the original one I had out so I figured I’d snap a few photos and stick it on the blog in case anyone else wanted it. 🙂
I got the frame from the Marshalls Clearance section for like $5, printed out this Spring Subway Art Printable, trimmed the edges and stuck it on the table by the door. I’m pretty much in love with it haha.
Hope you were a bit more prepared for Easter than I was.
