My brother could live of off Taco Bell, Broccoli Casserole, Apple Crisp, Sushi and Arroz con Pollo. I don’t know if I consider him a picky eater but from what I’ve observed he pretty much sticks to those “food categories.” 😉
So when he get’s excited about something new I’ve been working on for the blog it really makes me happy. I know that if he likes it, that it must be REALLY good.
A year or so ago I made these, Chocolate Chip Craisin Granola Bars from #BrunchWeek and I brought the 2nd “test batch” to work and sent them home with my mom. I think that he inhaled all of them except for maybe one or two.
So when I made these Homemade Twix Granola Bars I knew that I had to get him to try them. Again, I had granola bar recipe success!
Now I did make these Homemade Twix Granola Bars after Halloween last year so that I could use up some of the candy we had left over but I know our Target sells fun size Twix bars all year. However, if you can’t find fun size Twix bars for these granola bars, just chop up a few full size Twix bars and toss them in.
Now go forth and take a break from the New Years resolution to “keep away from all that is delicious” and make some of these Homemade Twix Granola Bars.
Just get back to the New Years Resolution eating tomorrow. 😉 Your taste buds will Thank You…..your jeans… maybe not so much. 😉
