If you’ve ever eaten at a Japanese Restaurant or gotten take out from one, you have either tried the “white sauce” or you’ve seen people devouring it by the cup full haha.
Japanese White Sauce
What you need:
1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ketchup
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
What to do:
In a Medium bowl, stir the mayonnaise and water, until combined. Add ketchup, melted butter garlic powder, sugar, and paprika and stir. Stir, Stir, Stir.
If you want to make it easier to get smooth, microwave the mixture for about 30 seconds. You don’t want to get it hot at all, but just enough to help the mayo mix in well.
I usually refrigerate for about 30 minutes before using.
Store in an air-tight container in fridge.
