Ingredients
Ingredients for roasted strawberries
- 1 pint strawberries
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
For Ice Cream
- 1 1/2 cups Silk Chocolate Almondmilk
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 pint of roasted strawberries (recipe above)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions
Directions for roasted strawberries
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Cut off greens of strawberries and place onto a baking sheet with edges.
- Sprinkles brown sugar over the strawberries.
- Roast for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
For Ice Cream
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix together the Silk Chocolate Almondmilk and sugar. Mix for 5 minutes on medium speed until the sugar is completely dissolved.Once the sugar is dissolved, mix in the 3 cups of heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
- Turn the ice cream maker on and pour the ice cream mixture into the ice cream machines frozen bowl.
- Let the ice cream churn for 10 minutes.
- Pour in the roasted strawberries.
- Let the ice cream churn for 15 minutes.
- Pour the ice cream into an air-tight freezer safe container.
- Place into the freezer to harden.
- (This may take anywhere from 2 hour to overnight, depending on your freezer).
