I came across this recipe by accident when trying to use up canned veggies that were in my pantry for years, but had no idea what to do with. Having had canned chicken & egg noodles on hand as well, I gave this a try with some bouillon and I’m SO GLAD that I did! My husband, 14yo and 10 yo all loved it! I’ve now made it several times with different canned veggie variations. My typical chicken noodle soup takes HOURS and a lot of work, but this is so quick, simple and cheap that I use it as a cheat quite often when I’m short on time. Adding some celery salt is a great flavor addition as well.

Can you use box chicken broth instead of water? Please advise. Thank you.

It turned out great! used my home made turkey bone broth (from thanksgiving). Added fresh garlic and onion, carrots , frozen peas. Used better than bouillon. It was quick and easy.

In reply to Kit. You can but you'll need to increase cooking time to defrost/heat/cook the veggies. :)
