Memorial Day is definitely more than just the “unofficial start to summer” but a great day for reflection. Ahhhh – I remember making those care packages for my ex and his boys stationed in Fallujah. It was the little things from home that seemed to mean so much and I love how you included Starkist in Thomas’ packages. I never thought to send those – I did send alot of coffee and Captain Morgan Chocolate Chip Cookies, however 🙂
