I finally conquered one of the kitchen fears and celebrated my first time making the perfect from scratch biscuits last month. I don’t know why homemade biscuits scared me for so long but they did. I looked at the vintage biscuit cutters that were in my kitchen drawer almost every day and convinced myself that biscuits were too much work.
However, after finally making my own biscuits at home I’m not sure if I’ll ever NOT make them at home.
Thomas loved them and I found myself making them almost every Saturday morning for almost a month. They were perfect.
Perfect plain, perfect with butter…..oh biscuits just need butter, y’all.
They need regular butter and they need homemade blackberry butter!
I’ve shared compound butter recipes with y’all before and y’all seemed to love them, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that you will love this blackberry version too!

I like to mix my blackberry butter until it’s purple and smooth but if you’d like more blackberry chunks in your butter just don’t mix it quite as much.

I seen your recipe had a shelve life of two weeks. Do you think it would be ok to freeze?
Maybe but I haven’t frozen this butter before. I’m not sure if the blackberries/blackberry juice would crystalized and defrost well.
why is it so hard to find the recipe? I give up I clicked on a bunch of places and it just takes me to adds.
