I’ve made this recipe 3 different times in the last month and it’s been amazing every time. I’ve used both rotelle noodles and bow ties and both worked wonderfully. I’ve done ground beef, ground turkey, and frozen mini Italian meatballs, and all have been delicious. I’ve never bothered with broiling and it’s been perfect without it. I do add the ricotta to the pot before cooking though so it gets a chance to melt and cook into everything. I just stir everything together and drop the entire container on top before closing up to avoid it burning on the bottom. Then I mix in the shredded cheese (used an Italian blend and some cheddar). Yum! Thanks for such an easy (and versatile!) recipe!

I made this for my family the first time a couple months ago, it was one of the first things I made in my IP and my husband said he liked it better than traditional lasagna! Turned out perfect!

In reply to Lg. It doesn't turn into Lasagna soup? How long did you cook it? Sorry it didn't turn out good for you. :( It's amazing, hope you'll try it again. We make it a lot and haven't had it turn into soup. Although Lasagna soup sounds good hahaha
