Hey! The glaze calls for cocoa, do you use Unsweetened baking cocoa powder or (hot chocolate) cocoa powder? because I’m thinking of those Swiss Miss hot chocolate powder mixes, and I’m not sure if that is what you meant. Overthinker here lol

I have been maling your hot chocolate cookie recipe for years now! They are always a hit! They’re a labor of love, so I usually make the dough the day before I intend on baking them because they can be time consuming…. but SO worth it.

I made the cookies just as written. Hot cocoa cookies are a big hit! Granddaughter requested them for her birthday. I use snowflakes & multi color sprinkles.
Thank you for sharing the recipe, especially with the ‘special changes’. I did read thru the comments, & will try the peppermint shavings on a few next time. Thank you, commenter.
