You can totally do it own your own. :) It just takes a little time to read up on what's available and what sounds like things y'all would enjoy. But don't stress. Disney is amazing and fun for all ages. Your kids will have a blast.

DO you recommend working with a Disney planner? Or could I do this on my own? I do some special event planning for work but not sure I should take this on! I have never been before! My husband went as a kid. We have a 6 year old son and a 14 year old girl/teenager so want to make sure it works for both of them!

Thank you for this advice for planning a trip to Disney World. You mentioned that you should try to pick which parks you want to visit and learn what tickets to get. Maybe it could be fun if you wanted to stick to some kind of theme to help decide what parks to go to on a certain day.
