I’m going to be headed to my cousin Crystal’s house in a few hours for an entire day of Christmas baking and crafts but before I head out that way I wanted to share these with y’all.
I know Christmas is almost here and almost everyone has already had their fill of Christmas treats and such but there may be some last minute Christmas spirit people out there. 😉
That’s one of the reasons that I’m posting these today and because they’re really easy. Three ingredients and you’ve got the perfect last minute Christmas dessert.
Who knows, I may even stop and pick up what we need to make these with the kiddos today. We’ll see much I want to brave the stores around town when I go out haha.
So while I’m watching Christmas movies, downing hot chocolate and making Christmas cookies with the other Barrett women, you’ll get to check out these Oreo Cookie Wreaths! I didn’t want to leave you out of the Christmas fun today!
This is how you make them:
You’ll just need a pack of Oreos, (regular or winter Oreos), Green frosting (homemade or store bought) and red berry sprinkles. You may also want to use little red candy bows but you don’t have too. I just like the way the bows look on the Oreo Wreaths.
Now let me jump back up to the frosting for a second. You can totally make your own homemade frosting but since I want these to be made as quickly as possible I just went with the green can of frosting with the Christmas sprinkles on top of the can.
You’ll also need a piping bag and a leaf piping tip, I used a leaf tip #66 from Wilton.
Fill the piping bag with the green icing fitted with the leaf tip. Take the Oreo cookie and pipe squiggly lines/leaves around the cookies, leaving the center open. Swiggle/Pipe the lines from the center to the edge of the cookie.
Now, add a few red berry sprinkles and the red candy bow if you’re using the bow!
Boom! Merry Christmas, that’s it. You’re done.
Just sit them out and let the party begin.

These are so cute. I love how easy they are but they’re so festive and pretty too.
I’m a slacker, I never bake early. I have not made one thing yet. And I likely won’t start till Christmas Eve. Ha. I’m a last minute girl all the way.
