This pumpkin cheeseball has been making an appearance at our Thanksgiving dinners for a few years now! We love digging into it while we wait for Thanksgiving dinner to finish cooking!
This little Pumpkin Cheeseball is totally inspired by the Pumpkin Cheeseball that my future sister in law makes for Thanksgiving and get togethers! I had to change it up a tad because my husband can’t eat eat salsa and Meghan normally makes this cheeseball with salsa but it’s almost the same.
I just knew that I wanted to share this with y’all before Thanksgiving gets here.
Make this the day before and set it out as your guest are arriving for Thanksgiving for the perfect little Thanksgiving dinner/party appetizer.
So these are the items that you’re going to need for this “Pumpkin Cheeseball”.
You can place them into a food processor or you you can crush them between two pie dishes.
I poured half of the bag Doritos into a pie dish and I put another pie dish on top of them and pressed it down to crush them.
Next, roll the cheeseball in the crushed Doritos.
Roll it until all of the cheeseball is covered.
Cut the stem from a green pepper to use for the stem of the pumpkin.
Serve with chips. (Ps. the Pretzel Thins are perfect with this)
Perfect serving idea — place the Pumpkin Cheeseball into a pie dish and then fill the pie dish with chips before serving..
So out of all of the fancy things that you’re going to make for Thanksgiving, put this on your list as one of those easy dishes that isn’t going to cause you stress.

Sounds good! I’m going to make this for Thanksgiving. Something I do for a pumpkin shape; After you wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap, take 6-8 rubber bands and place over the wrap to form “ribs”. Refrigerate for several hours so “ribs” will set, then roll in chips and put pepper stem on top to serve.
oooo that’s a great idea!!
