- Prep Time: 15m
- Total Time: 15m
- Yield: about 30 pinwheels
Ingredients
- 4 -6 tablespoons Sabra Tuscan Herb Hummus
- 8 soft tortillas
- 4 ounces Herb and Garlic Goat cheese (or your favorite), softened
- 8 large green lettuce leaves
- 1 -2 cups diced tomatoes
- Toothpicks* Optional
- 1 tub Sabra Tuscan Herb Hummus for dipping * Optional
Instructions
- Lay out a tortillas.
- Heating each tortilla on the stove top or in the microwave for about 10 seconds to make it easier to roll.
- Spread on a nice layer of softened herb and garlic goat cheese.
- Next, spread on about 1/4 tablespoon or more of Sabra Tuscan Herb Garden Hummus .
- Lay down 1-2 slices of Prosciutto.
- Top Prosciutto with 1 lettuce leaf and a few diced tomatoes.
- Next, roll the tortillas "jelly roll style" like a pinwheel.
- Lay them seam side down on a plate and place them into the fridge for a few hours.
- Putting them into the fridge for a few hours will make it easier to cut them and it'll let the flavors mingle together a bit. - I leave mine in the fridge for about 2 hours.
- When you\'re ready to serve them, just take them out, cut off the ends and slice them into 1-2 inch pinwheels.
- After you\'ve sliced them you can lay them flat on a serving tray or you can stack two together and hold them together with a long toothpick, either way will work!
- Sit out a container of Sabra Tuscan Herb Hummus for dipping.
