So sorry you have been going through this but it sounds like in the end you are making better choices for yourself and getting into a routine of a new normal. I guess we never know what will happen big or small to create a paradigm shift within ourselves. If at the end of the day your eating is healthier and controlled I guess its a good thing. I myself an wrestling with making better choices as well. These lil bites are the cutest!!

my husband is the same way with staying in corners when we’re out and have a clear exit strategy, mainly from his military years. I am the same way EXCEPT for when we're out together. When we're out together, I always put him in the corner and my back too everything else. I think watching him for his signs of being stressed out or freaked out over take my need. Weird, right?

In reply to <a href="https://www.bigbearswife.com/springtime-easter-reese-stuffed-oreos/#comment-8923">Nutmeg Nanny</a>.

I didn't really start getting panic attacks until Thomas deployed over seas during the first year of our marriage. I literally remember my first panic attack and it scared the daylights out of me. I was sitting at a stop sign about 5 minutes from our house heading into town after he had been overseas for a few weeks and something made me think about his deployment and the fact that is was a possibility that he could not make it home and I freaked out. Thankfully we lived in the middle of nowhere at the time so I managed to pull myself together good enough to make it back up the road to the house but it was terrifying. I had kind of dealt with them pretty good until last year and BAM they're back. :/

Wish you lived closer! I would totally be stopping by with treats for you!

Haha ehh, what can ya do lol ;)

Boo for being pastaless and riceless but atleast I won't be alone haha. I did have a little bit of rice the other night but I literally cut "1 serving" into 3! haha I totally couldn't spit out what I sample but I literally have only been tasting for quality purposes (seriously) and then giving the rest of the stuff away.

Those diet changes are so hard. I try everyday to make the right choices, and it's so hard. The panic attacks too, I get it. I get so anxious sometimes, and have had attacks. I actually had postpartum anxiety, not depression, with attacks, of course always when we're out somewhere. To cope, I have to be in corners when we're out and have a clear exit strategy at all times.
These little stuffed oreos look amazing though. Peanut butter and chocolate is the perfect combo!

I have been there with the panic attacks. Years ago I was in the middle of one and swore to myself I was dying and having a stroke. I went into the hospital crying that I knew I was having a stroke and that I wasn't crazy. (Pro tip - never claim you're not crazy at a hospital. They will in fact think you are crazy.) Luckily the doctor who was there that night was calm and knew what I was going through. Panic attacks are scary because the fear in your brain outrides the normal "common sense" part of your brain. You truly feel as though you are going to die. But you know what - it happens. Know you're not alone. Mine was triggered because I was in a horribly abusive relationship and I mentally couldn't handle it anymore. To be honest the best thing I ever did for myself was seek therapy. It's been life changing! I'm not longer as neurotic (I say "as" because I'm pretty sure being neurotic is just part of my personality...haha) and those panicky feelings can be better dealt with before going into full on attack mode. Having coping skills for those moments are a life changer.

Now, onto a lighter subject - YUM to these little candies. You went and took all my favorite things, combined them together and dipped them in chocolate. Bless your heart! I wish I lived near you so I could have had a sweets delivery :)

Oh, boo at people not reading the post. :(

I am so sorry about your panic attacks! They sound horrifying. I think it's awesome that you're making changes to your diet for the better. Starting tomorrow, I'm just going to eat fruit, veggies and meat for a what I'm guessing will be a long time (I've done this before and continue blogging by spitting out whatever I sample of my desserts because I have NO self control. Example - I just ate 6 freshly fried donuts!). We can be pastaless and riceless together. :)
