I did not use Lemon Juice because I was concerned about the cream curdling. My husband had these about 30 years ago and raved about them. The only thing I found was it took an hour for them to be done and probably could have still cooked another 30” totallng 90” cook time. I’m at 4500’ so that plays a factor but not usually to this time extent. Will absolutely be using this recipe again! Huge hit with my husband!! Thanks to you and your Grandma!!!!
