When I lived in Jacksonville, NC it did look like that except it was pork and not chicken.

It’s a Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwich INSPIRED by NC BBQ 🙂 It does look like NC BBQ except it’s chicken. It even used a vinegar based BBQ sauce just like the traditional NC Pork BBQ. 🙂
