Hi! This recipe sounds amazing but I really don’t know what is apple butter..Never heard of it.I live in Europe,maybe this is the reason 🙂

In reply to Belinda. Dixie Crystals is just a brand of sugar. You just need white sugar for these cookies and I did you a cinnamon sugar in the recipe as well, also Dixie Crystals brand but you don't have to use that brand. You can try leaving out the cinnamon sugar but they won't taste like they're suppose too. Dixie Sugar and Cinnamon Crystals is just Cinnamon Sugar.

Ok just made second batch and double coated them with sugar. They turned out way better… just fyi.

Not impressed…. They look nothing like the photo. Flavor is ok but they come out like flat biscuits. Will not make again
