Are You Missing Out on Magical Moments? Want to meet Disney Characters but can’t find them? Let’s Fix that! Let’s Meet Some Disney Characters! I’ve got some Tips For Meeting Disney Characters at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure!

Do you remember the feeling of meeting your favorite Disney characters at Disney for the first time?
The pure joy and excitement that filled your heart as you hugged Mickey Mouse or received a high-five from Donald Duck?
For many of us, this experience holds a special place in our childhood memories. But as adults, meeting Disney characters can still be just as magical.
However, it can also be a bit overwhelming! Where are the characters? How do I find them? Are the lines super long?
I’m used to finding Characters at Disney World. They normally have a few characters out each day, and those characters are normally in one spot (or around just one spot).
However, I noticed in Disneyland that a lot of the Disney characters were roaming around instead of staying in one spot the whole time. NOT ALL of them, but some. I also could be wrong, but I thought there were way more characters in Disneyland to meet than Disney World.

PLUS, I even saw some Disney Characters walking around at our hotel!

Some characters may only be available at certain times or locations. – Prioritize which characters are a must-meet for you or your children. – Utilize the Disneyland app or website to check wait times and strategically plan your character visits.
Which Characters Are A MUST-MEET?
First, I think, it is best to decide on which Disney characters are a must-meet for you or your children.
I made a small list of characters that I wanted to see/meet and then just planned to hopefully “run into” some others.
At Disneyland, you’ll find some characters in certain “Meet and Greet” Spots and then you’ll also find quite a few characters just roaming around in a certain area of the parks.
Utilize the Disneyland App!
-
Check appearance times and locations on your Disneyland app.

-
Open the app and click on maps.

-
Then click on “characters” at the top of the menu.
Make sure you’re looking at the correct park and check out the Mickey heads.
These are characters!
Just click on one to see which character is in which location.
-
Once you click on a character, you can also see what times they will make appearances throughout the day.

Then just head over in that direction and keep a look out! Sometimes they’ll sneak up on you! haha
