I think I found the perfect stocking stuffers!! Candy Cane Vodka!
HAHA! OK, I made the perfect stocking stuffers, but whatever. Have you seen the Skittles Vodka that’s been floating around Pinterest Yes you have! Ok… if you haven’t be sure to check it out, because it’s so neat. (Orange Skittle Vodka is next on my list!!)
But since it’s almost Christmas, Candy Cane Vodka seems liked a good choice for my little experiment. Skittle vodka will have to wait. (not too long though)
You only need two ingredients for this Candy Cane Vodka! Can anyone guess what those two ingredients are? Ok, Ok…..Candy Canes and Vodka, that’s all 😉 I know… that was a tough one. *just kidding* So I guess you’re not really making Candy Cane Vodka, I suppose it’s more like infusing Vodka with Candy Canes.
However you want to look at it, it’s good and super easy! It’s also not that expensive. I think each little bottle of Vodka was like $1.95 and I got a whole box of candycanes for $1.00. I mean really, look at those cute little bottles of Candy Cane Vodka.
This would be Candy Cane Vodka and Sprite |
I know a few people that will be getting these in their stockings. 😉 Lucky them.
To make this Candy Cane Vodka, you’ll need Mini Bottles of Vodka, Candy Canes and a Glass Container with a lid.
Pour the Vodka into the large container.
Crush the Candy Canes. I found it was easier to just break the candy canes with my hands, than try and cut them. (You probably knew that already though)
Pour the candy canes into the vodka container, place the container in the fridge and let it sit for 2-3 days.
I KNOW, I KNOW…. It’ll be hard to wait. But wait. Twice a day take the container out of the fridge and swirl it around and then place it back into the fridge.
After 2-3 days (vodka should have dissolved the candy canes and be a bright red color), carefully pour the Candy Cane Vodka back into the little vodka bottles. I actually used a icing piping tip as a mini funnel.
Put the caps back onto the bottles and enjoy the cuteness. Ok.. That’s enough cutest enjoyment. Now mix up your favorite drink with that and enjoy it!

Hey Bobbi! I get them from the ABC store 🙂 They’re just the little airplane bottle sizes. They’re normally up closer to the register.
