I have fabulous plans for this afternoon. Everyday this week has been beautiful the sun has been out, the birds have been singing and the flowers are starting to bloom. This morning I got up and decided that with this beautiful weather I would make it a routine to start walking the dogs in the afternoon, well one dog each afternoon. This afternoon I was planning to walk to mom’s (since we now live like 3 minutes away), and walk back with our newest dog JD (he’s about 4 months, but he’s huge and needs to learn how to walk on a leash better before he gets any bigger). Oh yes, and since the weather has been so beautiful, I actually dug out my flip flops for work today (I work for my parents and am behind a computer all day, flip flops are totally acceptable haha)
And do you know what happens this afternoon? After all of this beautiful weather? Before I could even get off of work, it started to sleet and snow. REALLY, mother nature, really?!?! What are you doing?!
The past week I’ve been wearing boots and tennis shoes with perfect beautiful weather; today I break out the flip flops and it snows. I give up. So I think I’ll need some donuts to comfort me. *Sounds like a good plan anyways, make me feel better haha*
Speaking of things that make me feel good, look at these little “milk bottle”. Ok, well they are not really milk bottles. They are actually Starbucks bottles. I washed them out, removed the label and turned them into little milk bottle props. I love them! <3
These Chocolate Espresso Mini Donuts are so easy to make, especially with this little mini donut maker I found! *PS. I’ll be having a special little giveaway soon that may just include one of these adorable donut makers*
Look at that! Puffy mini donuts. Let me just say that I’ve used a donut pan before and I didn’t like it at all. Only half of the donut was round! What in the world. 🙁 Do you make donuts at home? How do you make them? I love using this mini donut maker!
Plus the donuts are done in like 2 minutes, if they even take that long! For these Chocolate Espresso Mini Donuts, I made a simple glaze and added a little orange juice and some orange zest. I love chocolate and orange together!
