Chocolate Pecan Pie is condensed down into a little bite sized dessert with these Chocolate Pecan Pie Macarons! Perfectly baked macarons with a chocolate ganache pecan pie filling!
Is it wrong that I have an obsession with all things pecan pie? Is it wrong that I love to mix chocolate and pecan pie together?
How about the fact that since I learned how to make macarons this year they are all I want to make when it comes to desserts?!
I made these little beauties back in October and I’m just now getting around to sharing them with you! It was a busy few months y’all and I just got behind a little bit.
Ok, reality was that October and November were crazy and I forgot about these macarons! I can’t believe that I forgot about them!
However, since Christmas is on the way and we’re all looking for the perfect little gifts for our family and friends I thought that I should go ahead and post these now.
A few macarons, a cute little box and some ribbon would make such a sweet little gift! I mean, who wouldn’t want to giant box of these homemade Chocolate Pecan Pie Macarons for Christmas?
Well maybe my best friend, Nikki, because she’s allergic to pecans haha but you know what I mean! 😉
Worried about the pecans in this recipe? You can totally leave them out if you’re looking for something that’s just chocolate. They are fantastic with the pecan pie filling but you could also just make the chocolate ganache to fill them with.
Either version is a winner in my book. Goodness though, let me tell you something.
Chocolate and Pecan Pie are two flavors that were just born to go together.
You remember my Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie? Well, y’all….this is the bite size version!

In the filling, the recipe does not say how much ground pecan needs to be added. Can you tell me the amount?
Angie says
I just checked. It’s there. it’s 1 cup chopped pecans not ground pecans 🙂
