Little Debbie’s Christmas Tree Brownies® are a nostalgic seasonal favorite. Jump in the kitchen and let’s bake up some homemade brownie trees and decorate them with green ganache and candy-coated chocolate chips to create our very own Copycat Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies.
This recipe was created for Dixie Crystals by BigBear’sWife, post and words written are 100% mine as always.

My mom loves all of the holiday Little Debbie Brownies and cakes. I can’t walk past a box of them without thinking of her. So when the holidays rolled around, it seemed like Copycat Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies needed to happen for the blog and for her!
I made these earlier this month to share with y’all but some things happened with our little guy and I got way behind on posting Christmas recipes. If you want to read more about what’s going on with him I wrote about it some here. Spoiler — he’s been in NICU for a week. 🙁
I will try not to yap too much on this post because I know you are all busy with Christmas prep. 🙂 Let’s get into making these!
First, you’re going to start off with a super awesome brownie recipe (you can find out where to get that below)
Then it’s as simple as using a Christmas Tree cookie cutter to cut out some fudgy brownie trees! I used a smallish medium cookie cutter for mine but you can use any side you want.
I found it easiest to bake the brownies in a 9×13 rimmed foil-lined baking sheet so that the Christmas tree brownies were not to thick.
Then it’s time to decorate.
These Candy Coated Chocolate chips are just like the ones on the boxed Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies! I bought a box of the brownies just to make sure.
I found these at Walmart but I think you can order them online too.
I used a green chocolate ganache to coat my Copycat Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies because it seemed to be the closest thing I could make that resembled the green icing on the boxed Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies.
I did find it best to put the trees in an airtight container to let the ganache set a bi to be more like the boxed Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies BUT I also think that they are perfect right after decorating too!
