We’re all moved into the new apartment! To be honest, I wasn’t sure if we were going to be apartment people but it turns out that we love it here even more than we thought we would.
I’ve been working on unpacking the place but it’s been quite a job. We just got internet and TV yesterday so that I can actually work now. Since we got internet work and deadlines have kind of taken over the unpacking time. However I did get most of the kitchen and living room as well as the bedroom unpacked.
My office is a total mess though. Send help, ok? I’ve been trying to take a few breaks and take walks with the puppies and it’s helping me get rid of a bit of stress I built up about moving. Isn’t it crazy? We just moved downtown and I feel like we’ve moved across the country.
I mean we’ve been downtown before, I love downtown but living down here makes me feel like I’m in a whole new city.
I took the dogs walking yesterday and stumbled on to this little gem. It’s a name and name carved into the one of the old sidewalks between two old tobacco warehouses.
The history nerd in me is doing backflips right now! I mean how cool is that.
Every time I take them outside I take a different route to see what else I can discover.
Speaking of discovering things, I haven’t gotten to cook much since we’ve been in the new place because we just got the kitchen unpacked so the other day while I was waist deep in a sea of boxes and crumpled newspapers I decided to take a little break and try one of Campbell’s new products, the NEW Campbell’s Slow Kettle Andouille Sausage Jambalaya Soup for lunch!
I was so busy and I just needed something easy to make and tasty for lunch. I was so excited to find this Slow Kettle Andouille Sausage Jambalaya Soup from Campbell’s!
I’ve always had a soft spot for delicious Jambalaya and I love having a few of these Slow Kettle Andouille Sausage Jambalaya Soups in the pantry.
I was pretty happy with the flavor of this soup and it was a lot spicier that I thought it was going to be. I wasn’t expecting such flavor from this soup.
You can cook this Campbell’s Slow Kettle Andouille Sausage Jambalaya Soup one of two ways. You can heat it in the microwave or you can follow the suggested directions and heat it on the stove top.
I heated this Slow Kettle Andouille Sausage Jambalaya Soup on the stove top for the best results.
These delicious Campbell recipes and Slow Kettle soups from Campbell’s are crafted by chefs using real top notch ingredients that you can see and taste while you’re eating it.
I loved the huge piece of perfectly cooked Andouille Sausage!
I’m telling you, it was the perfect lunch to get me through the first day of unpacking everything and turning this space into our home. I can’t wait to get out and discover more!

Great apartment and love the pics! Is that an old bridge or railroad track between the brick buildings? Whatever it is, it is exceedingly cool!! Totally my kind of place to explore! The Jambalaya soup sounds good. I’ve been happy to see that Campbell’s has been focusing on better ingredients in many of their new sauces.

Oooh your apartment looks incredible! So charming with the exposed brick! I love the shot of your kitty looking out the window. Priceless!! Interesting about Campells Soups. I’ll be sure to look for them next time I’m out grocery shopping!
