This pie however is not a pie that I made (which you probably already knew that since there is a picture of the box at the top haha), but it is a Edwards Crème pies–(Hershey Chocolate Creme Pie from Edwards). Have you ever bought a frozen pie from the store? I normally do not buy whole pies from the store, mainly because it’s only BigBear and I right now and I do not want the temptation of a whole chocolate pie calling to me every time I open the fridge.. I DO however buy frozen pie slices for BigBear sometimes. (those are fabulous). But since BigBear and I are at the beach this week for Christmas with the family, I thought a whole chocolate pie would be nice to have for the Holidays and since I’m cooking a ton of other goodies, a thaw and serve chocolate pie works out perfectly for us.
Even though this Edwards Chocolate pie is so incredibly good, I have to tell you that the taste isn’t the only reason I love this pie. Through the month of December, Edwards (the company that makes these wonderful pies) is donating $1.00 to Toys for Tots for every Edwards Pie sold! (*I LOVE that)
Edwards also has a super cute and festive e-card site, send a holiday e-card to a friend or family member and not only do they get a holiday card from you, but they’ll also get a coupon for $1.00 off any MRS.SMITHS or EDWARDS pie 🙂 Pretty Nice!
And since I know you’ll love these Edwards pies as much as I do, I’ve got a special little giveaway for you. I’ve got one (1) coupon for a FREE Edwards Frozen Pie to give away to one of you.
