I haven’t been a part of the #SundaySupper group postings in over a month. But now I’m back and I’m so happy about it! the #SundaySupper group is such a wonderful group of food bloggers, it’s an amazing group be a part of. When I saw that the theme of this week’s postings was “Holiday Cocktails and Appetizers“, I knew that I needed to get back on track so that I could be a part of the #SundaySupper posts this week.
We could choose Cocktails or Appetizers… I’m guessing that you know from the title of my post that I went with Cocktails. 😉
I had my first mimosa….. well the first on I remember having…. when we were in Orlando back in March. We had mimosas with our brunch at Whole Foods and I fell in love with them. With Christmas being right around the corner and since I’ve been on the hunt for amazing brunch recipes to make when we’re at the beach I immediately thought of Mimosas’, and I knew they would be perfect.
But not any mimosas! Poinsettia Mimosas! Not only are they tasty but they’re bright and festive as well. (um.. no.. they’re are no Poinsettias in these Mimosas)
I loved these Poinsettia Mimosas. If you love Champagne and Cranberry Juice, you’ll love these Poinsettia Mimosas!

What if I am using Prosecco instead of Champaigne? Would I still use the Triple Sec?
Angie says
Hi Randi! I would. Both Prosecco and Champaign sparkling white wines so for this particular recipe, I would include the Triple Sec. It’s probably tasty without it was well but I haven’t made it that way.
Teri says
What if I’m going to make a gallon of this. How do I make it ?
Angie says
Hi Teri,
I haven’t made this in a gallon. I think it might be easier to plan for how many servings you want to have available and multiply the ingredients by that number.
