Taco Supper Ring
When I’m looking for new meal ideas my first go to place is blogger. OK well not “Blogger” but to all of my saved favorite blogs! Some of the blogs I follow have the best recipes and the most amazing ideas from cooking, to baking, to decorating and more!
I found this idea on Hoosier Homemade’s blog and changed it up a little to go with the Taco Supper mix I got from Yoders Amish market on the way home yesterday.
Here is what you need:
2 cans of crescent roll dough
2 cups water
2 pounds ground beef
1 container of Taco Supper from Yoders Amish Market***
Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
***If you are not from around here and are unable to get a container of Taco Supper from Yoders Amish Market you could instead use Taco seasoning in your beef, add 1/4 cup uncooked noodles, 1/2 cup corn and black beans (mixed together)
What you need to do:
Preheat oven to 350. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain grease as needed. Once ground beef is browned and drained; add 2 cups of water, taco supper mix and let come to a boil. Once it reaches a good boil on high reduce the heat to a low boil. Let cook for 10-15 minutes. Make sure pasta is tender.
On a large baking sheet lay out wax paper to cover the surface. Open the crescent rolls and unroll each triangle. Line the triangles into a circle with the tips pointing outwards; like this:
Once the dough is laid out, fill the ring with the taco mixture. Fold the tips of the dough into the center. Bake for 15 minutes or until crescent rolls are slightly brown.
Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over the ring. Put the ring back into the oven just long enough for the cheese to melt! Voila!
