I don’t make New Year’s resolutions.
I quit making them because I hardly ever follow through with them and then I end up making myself feel bad for not keeping them. If I don’t make New Year resolutions then I can’t break New Year resolutions.
I’d rather just stay active and eat better all year…I mean that’s normally everyone’s New Year resolution right?
Since we’ve been in the apartment I’ve been walking a ton more and just staying active which is helping me a lot with stress, anxiety and well of course a bit of weightloss. 🙂
I also started drinking Plexus a few months ago after talking about it with my friend, Emily, and it’s really helped me kick those sugar cravings. I mean yeah…I still like sugar and I still want to eat sweet things BUT I feel like I don’t “need” as much sugar now and my will power over sugary desserts is stronger than ever. — Which totally makes this sound like an ad and it’s totally not. I don’t sell the stuff, I’m just loving it and it’s been helping me stick to the healthier lifestyle.
Am I 100% a health nut….um negative. That’s never going to happen but I am proud to say that over the past two years, my portions have been dramatically reduced when I eat and our every day foods lean more towards the healthy side now then they have in ages.
So enough about all that. 2015 is jumping ship and 2016 is coming in with a bang.
Let’s get this year started on the right foot so that we can enjoy a year of healthy eating with some desserts and southern foods throw in for good measure and not feel guilty about it!!. 😉
