These Mini Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups pack all the flavor of chocolate cream pie into a tiny bite-sized dessert. Top with homemade whipped cream, chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder for an extra punch of flavor.

This recipe was created for Dixie Crystals by BigBear’sWife, post and words written are 100% mine as always.

Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups

Cookie cups are the best, y’all! Do you know why? They’re the best because you can make them any flavor you want and you can pretty much turn any of your favorite desserts into a bite sized treat!

These Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups were inspired by my favorite chocolate pie that my father in law makes.

Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups with whipped cream

I’ve shared the recipe on the blog for that chocolate pie and when I was thinking of different pie cookie cup flavors, this pie popped into my mind. It’s one of the best desserts ever and I knew that a bite sized version would rock our socks off! I was right!

Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups with whipped cream and chocolate shavings

Out of all of the cookie cup desserts I’ve made, these might, MIGHT just be my favorite. I mean, what’s better than a rich homemade chocolate pie inside of a tasty homemade sugar cookie crust?! Nothing y’all, nothing!

Now, as I’ve said with the chocolate pie one the blog, these need to sit! Make them, put them in the fridge and WALK AWAY Y’ALL! Walk away and leave them alone. haha

Let them sit, if you can stand it, for at least 24 hours. The chocolate pie filling taste good hours after it chills but it taste a billion times better when it’s been able to chill for longer. The longer it chills the better it is.

Now you can make them and leave them as is, don’t worry, they’ll still taste amazing with just the pie filling in them.

However, if you top them with homemade whipped cream, chocolate shavings or cocoa powder….oh my! Those toppings for these Chocolate Cream Pie Cookie Cups will just take this dessert over the top.
