Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

(Printable Recipe Here)

These are delicious little melt in your mouth chocolate cookies!
I’ve seen these cookies all over the web for the past year or two, and always thought they looked so great. So the other afternoon I was in the mood for baking and realized I had ingredients to make these so I decided to give them a try! So glad I did!

What you need:

2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons of butter, melted
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup cocoa powder
2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt

Powdered Sugar for rolling

What to do:

In stand mixer, combine sugar and eggs.

Add remaining wet ingredients and mix well. Add the dry ingredients (except for powdered sugar) and mix until well combined.

Dough will be wet and sticky. Chill for about 2 hours.

Once chilled, use a spoon or a small scoop and make round dough balls. Roll the cookie dough balls into the powdered sugar.

Place powdered cookie dough balls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake at 350 on parchment lined baking sheets for 8-12 minutes.

While the cookies are baking they will flatten out and “crinkle” 🙂

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
