I found this recipe yesterday while I was at working trying to figure out what to do with the cube steaks that were home in my fridge. I’m tired of frying or the country fried steak way. So I tried this recipe only I substitutes cream if mushroom for cream of chicken and I added garlic and salt to the steaks. It was delicious! Thank you for sharing! You sure made a family from Long Island, NY very happy last night???

I think I will have to try this tonight! Another option for cube steak Paula… http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cube-steak-parmesan/ The first time I made this for my husband he said “You can make this ANY time you want!” BIG hit. I make it for him all the time now. He likes it over angel hair pasta. Enjoy! 🙂

Do the tator tots need to be cooked before added to the casserole?
Angie says
Nope 🙂

This is great with venison cubed steak . I added more mushrooms , only because my family loves them . Venison has to cook slow so this was another great way to cook it . Thank you so much for sharing .

Could you use macaroni instead of tater tots?
Angie says
Maybe. I haven’t tired it that way.
