These Feta Cheddar Naan Bites were inspired by favorite sandwich at the coffee shop below our apartment! It’s a warm piece of naan topped with a garlic mayo and melted feta and cheddar cheese!
As most of you know, we live in a downtown loft apartment in our little town and we love it. Now, our downtown looks like the rural countryside compared to cities I’ve visited like Chicago and Miami. However, for us it’s much different than the tobacco farm and 100 year old farmhouse that we called home at one point.
Still the tobacco warehouse that our apartment building once was is over 100 years old but our apartment itself is brand new. haha
We live within walking distance of the farmer’s market, the downtown Midtown Market (that’s been around since the 20’s) and we have our very own coffee shop just steps away (and an elevator ride down) from our front door.
I admit that when we first moved in to the apartment that we went to the coffee shop A LOT! We got coffees in the morning and lunches when we were home. oh it was marvelous, but things like that add up over time and with a sad heart I had to put a limit on my trips to the coffee shop.
However, during my trips to the coffee shop I fell in love with one of the sandwiches there. I would send Thomas down on Saturdays when he got home from work to pick up lunch and I always got the same sandwich. It was a cheddar and feta sandwich on flatbread with a homemade garlic mayo. Oh it’s amazing,
So you know me, I decided to give it a go at home. I took my beloved sandwich and turned it into perfect party bites! Oh my sweet heavens I’m not even sure if I can put it into words. They’re just that good.
Toasty little naan bites with creamy garlic mayo and melted feta and cheddar cheese.
These would be so perfect for your next game day party!
They would be perfect to snack on before dinner.
Heck just eat them for dinner! These little bites with a bowl of homemade soup…perfection!
Ok, maybe don’t eat all of them for dinner. That might be a bit much.
Um….I’ll leave that up to you!
However I would advise that you only fix as many as you’re going to eat, while they’re fantastic straight from the oven they don’t heat up well. I mean they’ll taste ok, they just are AS GOOD reheated.

This is a recipe that I would definitely try. I like your idea of having a nice soup to go along with it!

This reminds me a lot of a garlicky cheese-and-mayo bread that one of my friends sometimes makes… it’s super-delicious, but definitely not a low-cal appetizer, so I love the idea of scaling it down to a bite-sized version (though, let’s face it, I’d probably eat the same amount in the end….)
