By now I’m sure you’ve notice The Nightmare Before Christmas theme that I have going on for Halloween right? I mean after all I did make Jack Skellington Apples, I’ve made Jack Skellington Oreos, I’ve decorated the house in a The Nightmare Before Christmas theme and our pumpkins are even carved as Jack and Sally!
So what else did I need to add the “Nightmare Before Christmas” touches to the house? Why I needed Sally’s Potion Bottles of course!
Sally uses these potions when she makes soup for Dr. Finkelstein in the movie! The Deadly Night Shade puts him to sleep so that she can sneak out 🙂
Now I’ve got my own Worms Wort, Frog’s Breath and Deadly Night Shade! Oh did you want your own bottles too? Good! I’ll show you how I made mine!
Stick the label onto the first bottle!
Let dry!
Repeat those steps for the other two bottles!
Ahhh they’re just perfect for my coffee table, don’t you think?!!
Worms Wort!!!
and Frog’s Breath….. there’s nothing more suspicious than Frog’s Breath! 😉
Oh and what completes the display of Sally’s Potion Bottles? Why it’s Sally’s spoon! In the movie, Sally used a spoon with holes in it to “taste” the soup to show Dr. Finkelstein that she didn’t poison it! Haha little does he know that she’s using the spoon with holes for the taste test!

How did you get the labels to stay while you put mod podge on?
Angie says
Add a little mod podge to the back of the label and stick it onto the bottle then add the top coat 🙂
