I tried to make your Instant Pot Vegetable Beef Soup and got a “burn” message. I turned the pot off and poured the soup out into a stock pot and sure enough -about a half inch of stuff was burned on the bottom.
I followed your instructions to the letter. Here’s what I’m wondering: could it be that this is supposed to be cooked in an 8qt pot instead of a 6qt? The soup does fill the 6qt almost full and Instant Pot instructions say to not fill the pot more than 2/3 full.
I’m very discouraged…
Hi Susan. Sorry, it didn’t work out for you. I only have a 6 qt so it’s totally a recipe for the 6 qt. I’ve never gotten the burn message on my Instant Pot on any recipes yet but I’ve heard about others getting one on other recipes from cookbooks and such.
