WELCOME TO THE THANKSGIVING EDITION OF MEAL PLAN MONDAY!

We’ve got all kinds of recipes this week to help with your Thanksgiving Meal Prep!

Meal Plan Monday #191 – Thanksgiving Edition

Home cooks everywhere look forward to this special day where we prepare time honored dishes and gather together with the people we hold most dear. The entire Meal Plan Monday family is pulling out all the stops in this week’s edition, in order to bring you the best of the best from our tables to yours. Grab a fork and get your printers warmed up because here we go!

Up first is a great recipe for how to dry brine a turkey from The Kitchen Is My Playground!

Want a tender, juicy, and flavorful turkey for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner? — Dry brine it!  Follow this step-by-step guide on How to Dry Brine a Turkey to get that juicy, flavorful, tender turkey you’ll love.

Our featured side is Crispy Roasted Potatoes from Call Me PMC.

These Crispy Roast Potatoes are crispy, creamy, buttery, caramelized potatoes, easy to make and incredibly delicious!

This week’s dessert feature is the Best Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie from No Plate Like Home!

This delicious pie only takes 15 minutes to prep using a store bought pie crust! It is the perfect make ahead dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas because it tastes even better the second day. Also, it freezes well. It’s as easy as pie!

Our host feature this week is a recipe straight from the files of Christy’s Grandmother:

Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing from SouthernPlate is a recipe that belonged to Christy’s grandmother, Lucille!

Always flavorful, never dry, and with just the right amount of seasonings. You can make your cornbread for this dressing ahead of time and then simply toss it all in the crock pot Thanksgiving morning! Click here to get her Mama’s Giblet Gravy recipe.

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
