Why You Should Make this Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad…

- Perfect for Strawberry Banana Flavor Lovers
- Great Chilled dessert to cool down during summer
- great with summer strawberries
Tip for great tasting strawberries even when the strawberries aren’t so great!
Summer strawberries always have the best flavor! If you can get local farmers market strawberries for this recipe, do it! Nothing compares to the tasty of bright red, summer strawberries.
However, I know that we can’t always get our hands on those precious summer berries during their peak season. So if you find yourself with a bunch of white topped, tasteless strawberries, here is how to fix that. Slice them up and pop them into a bowl. Sprinkle them with about 1 tablespoon of white sugar and wrap the top of the bowl in plastic wrap. Place them into the fridge over night. This will draw the juice and sweetness out of the berries! If there is a lot of liquid just stir them and drain off the excess. Stir those into your cheesecake salad right before serving and enjoy!

loved this recipe. I did change it as I didn’t want to run to town just for vanilla pudding so I used the only box I had, pistachio. wow I was a little amazed as it adds a nutty flavor that worked for this combination. thank you Kim
