I was wondering if the cake pops are suppose to taste “gooey”? I’m using less frosting than suggested. Does anyone else have this problem? Are they suppose to have a “cake like” texture? Any suggestions or ideas? Is it ok to use “moist” cake box mixes?

    Thanks
    Mel

      Hi Mel,

I’m not sure if I would call them “gooey” but they’re suppose to be soft, Like a playdough kinda. If you’re using less frosting than I used I can’t tell you if it’s the right texture because I use the amount above. 😉 It’s not suppose to be “cake like” texture though. And yes, I’ve used “moist” cake box mixes before 🙂

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
