It's the first week of the New Year which means a lot of people go into "Super Healthy Food Mode".
Well... I don't. I mean, I'm always trying to balance my good and bad foods, but I don't automatically start eating super healthy on January 1st.

It's the first week of the New Year which means a lot of people go into "Super Healthy Food Mode".
Well... I don't. I mean, I'm always trying to balance my good and bad foods, but I don't automatically start eating super healthy on January 1st.
But since today is : "This Weeks Cravings's Let's Get Healthy... Healthy Meals & Snacks" I want to share with you a No-Salt Seasoning "Salt".
We all know salt isn't the best thing you can load up on.
When BigBear went to a nutrition class, when he was in the military, they gave him a few different recipes for No-Salt Seasoning "Salt" to use in our cooking.
So here is one of the recipes that we use. We still use salt, just not as much anymore. Most of the time in recipes (not baked goods), I like to use this instead of salt.
What you need:
1 Tablespoon paprika
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon ground mustard
1 Teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 Teaspoon dried basil
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
Mix everything together. Place in a small shaker or container.
Add in place of salt in recipes (not in baked goods though...eww)
