When I got home from Disney a few weeks ago I had a lovely package waiting for me. This huge box was filled to the top with scented Airwick products, Airwick Warmers and Airwick Oils, for me to try out in our new home. Anyone that knows me know that I have a certain hate for “stink”, so if you really, really know me well then I’ve probably asked you a billion times before if my house smells OK or if you smell dogs when you come in. I just can not stand for something to smell in our house, unless it smells good of course.
Our house isn’t brand new, but it’s new to us so it doesn’t have that “brand new home” smell, and I missed that from our home in NC. I wanted a clean smell in our house and I found that no matter how much I cleaned, how many candles I burned or how many warmers I turned on that eventually a “stink” would come back. 🙁 Let’s just say say I was more than happy to rip open that pretty package of “smell goods” and plug them into sockets around the house.
You’ll find the Lavender & Chamomile in our bedroom. I hear that lavender is suppose to make you relax and fall asleep, so I thought that would be perfect in our room behind the bed.
The “Bright Citrus Splash” is in our upstairs bathroom right now. Citrus smells always make me think “clean”, so I knew that this would be perfect for the bathroom. I think that “Ocean Spray with Sparkling Sea Minerals” will be going in there next. I don’t know about you but for some reason I’ve always associated beach stuff with the bathroom. haha.
There are so many scents to choose from! I couldn’t decide on what to use in the basement or in my office!
I ended up going with the Magnolia & Cherry Blossom for the Basement and then the Hawai’i scent for my office. I want to go back to Hawai’i really bad, so this scent gives me a little break when I’m working on the office haha. The Hawai’i scent is one of the NATIONAL PARKS Scents – Exclusive to Airwick! I am really happy with the Airwick products that I tried out in our house. I can come home from work now and actually smell freshness in the air, which I love. We’ve got quite a little stock pile of the oils for these now, so I’m positive that we’ll be using these a lot in the future.
