Bay Leaf Flounder

I am not a fish person. I don’t like the way fish smells, I don’t like to think of my food swimming in a nasty ocean or pond…. ha ha………its just the way I think.

But I’ve been trying to get over that and add more Fish into my meals. So last night I pulled out the Flounder from where I had hidden it in the freezer and decided to try something….. anything to make this good…. and I did 🙂

I took a couple of ideas I’d seen around and Hubbys advice and we came up with
Bay Leaf Flounder. 🙂 Easy, Simple, Quick and Yummy.

What you Need:

Flounder Fillets
1 bay leaft for each Fillet
Thyme
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Melted Butter
Aluminum Foil

What to do:

Preheat your oven to 400.F

Lay your Flounder Fillet onto a Piece of Aluminum foil on a baking sheet.

Lightly Brush melted butter onto the fish.

Sprinkle with Thyme, Parley, Pepper, and Salt. Place 1 Bay Leaf in center of fish.

Fold edges of the foil around the fish to make a pocket for the fish to cook in.

Close the packet BUT leave a tiny opening to vent.

Cook for 20-25 minutes and remove from oven. Let sit for 5 minutes. Remove from Foil and Remove Bay Leaf.

Enjoy!
