This Boo Brownie Batter Dip is rich, chocolatey, and dangerously delicious! The perfect way to celebrate the last day of Halloween Treats Week! It’s everything you love about brownie batter, but safe to eat and even more fun to share.
Dip it with cookies, pretzels, or apples… or grab a spoon and dig in (I won’t tell!).
What Is Boo Brownie Batter Dip?
If you’ve ever caught yourself sneaking a spoonful of brownie batter while baking, this dip is for you!
Since traditional brownie batter isn’t safe to eat raw, this recipe is made without eggs and uses heat-treated brownie mix, allowing you to enjoy that classic fudgy flavor without any risk.
It’s light, creamy, and has just the right amount of sweetness thanks to the mix of marshmallow fluff, cream cheese, and chocolate chips.
Because I couldn’t resist making it extra festive for Halloween and #HalloweenTreatsWeek, I topped mine with white chocolate ghosts that I made using candy melts and a ghost-shaped mold. You could also use ghost sprinkles, mini marshmallows, or edible eyes to give your dip a hauntingly cute touch.
This is one of those recipes that Jackson loves to help with; he’s all about decorating and adding the “perfect touch”, like the chocolate chips on top haha.

- Vanilla wafers
- Apple slices
- Strawberries or other fruit
The creamy chocolate dip and crunchy or fruity dippers make every bite a fun surprise!
Tips & Tricks
- Make Ahead: Prepare up to 2 days in advance and refrigerate. Let soften slightly at room temperature before serving.
- Food Safety: This recipe skips raw eggs and uses heat-treated brownie mix to make it totally safe to eat raw.
- Decorating Idea: Use white candy melts and a ghost mold to make your own chocolate ghosts.
- Why use VANILLA extract in a chocolate recipe? Vanilla enhances the flavor of chocolate! Vanilla deepens the richness, smooths any bitterness, and makes the overall taste more rounded and delicious.
