 Want to make your own homemade version of Harry’s Potter’s ButterBeer? This hot chocolate is a fantastic warm version of the classic Harry Potter drink that’s we’ve fallen in love with. 

What you need for ButterBeer Hot Chocolate: (amounts in recipe)

• Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
• whole milk
• butterscotch chips
• semi-sweet chocolate chips
• unsalted butter

What is ButterBeer?

ButterBeer is a fictitious drink that everyone loves in the Harry Potter series! ButterBeer is a Butterscotch flavored drink and at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando.

At the park there is a recreation of Harry Potter ButterBeer that’s made up of a cream soda and butterscotch flavoring. They’re is a cold version, a frozen version and a hot version. I hear that the Hot Version of ButterBeer is just like hot chocolate so I bet it’s something like this ButterBeer Hot Chocolate. 

I haven’t been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter but it’s on my “must do” list. 

I also made ButterBeer Sandwich Cookies to go with this ButterBeer Hot Chocolate. Hello Harry Potter fans, these 2 treats are just perfect for you! 

This hot chocolate is so rich and wonderful that it’s perfect for a winter evening or fall afternoon. I mean, to be honest though, I love hot chocolate all the time.
