Love Banana pudding? Love s’mores? Well lucky for you, Chocolate Banana S’mores Dip is the perfect dessert that combines the flavors of both of those!

This post and recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.

Chocolate Banana Smores Dip

I’ve always had a soft spot for s’mores. I remember campfires at girl scout camp that always ended in s’mores being made. Church camp always had at least one night that was dedicated to s’mores around the fire pit and we’ve made them at home countless times.

Marshmallows and Chocolate just scream summer dessert to me, so I thought that this s’more dip would be the perfect dessert to end #SummerDessertWeek.

Chocolate Banana Smores Dip

However, this isn’t just a normal s’more dip. No y’all, this is my version, this is a Chocolate Banana S’mores Dip. Just like marshmallows and chocolate, bananas and chocolate are fantastic together.

I think I’ve told y’all this before, but if not, when I was little my mom use to slice up bananas, put them into a coffee mug and drizzle chocolate syrup over them to create an easy little dessert for us at night while we watched movies together. I’m pretty sure that is where my love of chocolate and banana came from.

Chocolate Banana Smores Dip

I found a few s’more dip recipes, like this one from Five Heart Home, but I knew I didn’t want to make just a plain s’more dip for #SummerDessetWeek. So while I used the same sort of idea, I added the banana to make it a little different. I am so glad that I did because it was amazing!

Chocolate Banana Smores Dip

This Chocolate Banana S’mores Dip kinda taste like banana pudding! Well like a chocolate banana pudding, but still a tasty banana pudding flavor.

Now when you make this, you’re going to want to let it sit for a few minutes before you serve it to make sure all of the chocolate melts. The cast iron will help with that.

If you can’t have a cast iron skillet you can make this in an ovenproof dish, you may just need to heat it a tiny bit longer to make sure the chocolate melts all the way.

Be careful though because this skillet is going to be SUPER HOT!

See those little hands? haha Those little hands belong to my god-daughters. They were more than happy to by my taste testers.
