Ready to make your very Cookie Dough Milkshakes at home? You’ll be in Cookie Dough heaven when you whip up one of these in your own kitchen!
Cookie Dough Milkshakes

I’ve always had a soft spot for cookie dough and cookie dough desserts.  I mean don’t get me wrong, a perfectly baked, warm, soft chocolate chip cookie is amazing and dream worthy but cookie dough is on a whole ‘nother level.

Cookie Dough Ice Cream made an appearance on the blog this year and now these Cookie Dough Milkshakes are hot on it’s heels…or should I say cold on it’s heels? Oh, you know what I mean.

Cookie Dough Milkshakes

Thomas is all about milkshakes, he likes to get them when we go to the ice cream shop and he loves to make them at home. Thomas is a plain ol’ vanilla milkshake kind of person though.

I like to change up my flavors a bit more haha. Banana Pudding Milkshakes are up there on my favorites list as well as Banana Chocolate Milkshakes.

I happen to enjoy a good Chocolate milkshake too but oh how I love a good Cookie Dough Milkshake! There is just something about sweet vanilla ice cream swirled together with cookie dough chucks and whipped cream that makes my heart sing!

Cookie Dough Milkshakes

So while I love to grab a sweet milkshake once in a while when I’m out with Thomas or on vacation, I love making them at home too.

They’re so easy to make but to be honest I wouldn’t have even attempted to make homemade milkshakes if I had not worked at an ice cream shop when I was in college.

Cookie Dough Milkshakes

Before I worked there I just thought that making milkshakes at home would just be too much trouble.

However, all that’s going on here is ice cream, milk and whatever you want to add in. Blend those things up a bit and you’ve got a perfectly smooth, tasty homemade milkshake!

Cookie Dough Milkshakes

So for these Cookie Dough Milkshakes I made some homemade cookie dough (without raw eggs of course!), blended it up with tasty vanilla ice cream and ice cold milk into cookie dough milkshake perfection!

So if you find yourself the kitchen making homemade milkshakes, pour those homemade Cookie Dough Milkshakes into glasses and top them with a homemade whipped cream for the perfect sweet treat!

We love serving smoothie’s in mason jars – it’s so easy to grab on the go. This is my son’s favorite flavor of ice cream – it would make a perfect treat to make for him on his birthday this week! Thank you!!!

Ummmm… yes, please sign me up for a few of these puppies. I’m usually all about the chocolate when it comes to milkshakes, but I think I could make an exception for these. Love the homemade cookie dough crumbles on top. YUM.
