If you’re a fan of Andes Mints ®, this copycat version is going to be your new favorite recipe. Quick, easy and quite possibly better than the store-bought version!
I’ve always loved Andes Mints. I remember getting them from the little Italian restaurants around here when I was little. I would be the first to grab the ticket book on the table because I knew there would be little Andes Mints inside!
Well, that was until my Dad started saying, “The first one to touch the bill has to pay”. haha then I had to start waiting for my precious little Andes Mints!
I think he just did that because he wanted to be the one to get any extra little mints that they brought to the table. haha
I rarely see those little Andes Mints with the checks anymore. I hardly see them anywhere at all nowadays and that makes me a little sad.
But, have no fear! I’ve made my own version of these tasty Andes Mints. I think you’ll be surprised at how easy they are to make at home! I used a little silicone candy mold I found at the craft store to help shape mine but you could also make these in an 8×8 pan and then cut them into squares or rectangles!
These are great to sit out after dinner and they’re even better when served at a party!
Making candy can be so intimidating but I feel like I could totally pull off this delish recipe!
Is there any way you can ship me some 🙂
Andes Mints are my favorite!! I need to try this recipe out.
This looks really good!! I’ll make two batches for me and the kids!! 😉
I love Andes mints, so I can’t wait to try this homemade version!
Love the mint and chocolate combo! These look better than the store bought ones!
I love andes mints too! It’s so funny because I used to despise them and they grew on me. LOVE these!
Yum!! This is my stepsons favorite candy! I will have to make him some. Thanks for the recipe 🙂 xoxo
Oooooh my favorite for after dinner! These are so fun!
I used to get a box of Andes Mints for Xmas – making them from scratch sounds a lot cooler though
OMG, my dad always said the same thing :-). I like your mint version better because they are bigger than the real mint.
I have a serious weakness for mint and chocolate together… pretty sure a batch of these would last five minutes tops in my house! 🙂
