I’m so excited about Christmas this year, y’all! Ahhh, my new mommy heart can barely stand it! Thomas already pulled down all of the Christmas decorations and I’ve already decorated the tree and our home.
I’ve already started holiday baking and holiday DIY stuff and it’s not even December yet! I don’t care though, I’m ready for Christmas now! I’m just over the moon excited now that we have a little one!
Today I’m so excited to show y’all a little stocking suffer idea that I’m going to use this year and I might even make some for “neighbor gifts” as well. I mean what’s better than slicing up a crisp apple and dipping it into sweet caramel sauce?! This is the perfect little Christmas gift from the kitchen!
Envy Apples sent me a giant box of gorgeous red Envy Apples for the #MerryEats week event we’re having right now and I just knew that I wanted to show them off, plus I’m on a DIY gift kick right now, so these DIY Santa Apple & Rudolph Jar Caramel Sauce Stocking Stuffers were perfect!
You only need a few things for these DIY Santa Apple & Rudolph Jar Caramel Sauce Stocking Stuffers!
- Red Envy Apples
- Black Shimmer Cardstock
- Gold Shimmer Cardstock
- Caramel Sauce
- Brown Pipe Cleaners
- Red Pom Pom for the nose
- Googly Eyes
- Hot Glue Gun or Sticky Dots
- Treat Bag
- Gift Tags
Now let’s make these!
Take the black card stock and cut a strip to go around the thickest part of the apple. Tape the card stock together in the back to make it stay. Cut out a gold rectangle for the belt buckle and use two sided tape or a rolled piece of tape to tape the gold square to the middle of the black strip.
Cut a smaller black square and tape it to the middle of the gold square to make it look like a belt.
Santa Apple is done 🙂
Use the photos above for a reference if needed.
Fill the jar with caramel sauce and close the lid tightly.
Wrap and bend brown pipe cleaners around the side of the lid to make antlers. Hot Glue on the nose and eyes.
Now Rudolph is done!
See! I told you that this DIY Santa Apple & Rudolph Jar Caramel Sauce Stocking Stuffer was super easy to make!
After you make it, drop it down into a little treat bag and tie it closed with some curling ribbon. I used snowflake treat bags for my DIY Santa Apple & Rudolph Jar Caramel Sauce Stocking Stuffers but you can use clear ones if you want.
Did you notice the cute little gift tag on the DIY Santa Apple & Rudolph Jar Caramel Sauce Stocking Stuffer that I made? Liz from LizonCall.com made these cute printables for the #MerryEats week event! I just love them!
This one says, “Our Friendship is something others ENVY” — Because Envy Apples is one of our event sponsors! haha how cute, right?!
She also made some blank ones!
I know that my little Jackson can’t eat apples and caramel sauce right now but I just couldn’t pass up my first opportunity to write “From: Mom” on a gift tag!
Look at his sweet little stocking! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was be able to hang that by the fireplace this year.
Oh and not only is this a sweet little present and stocking stuffer but you can amp it up a little bit more if you’d like by adding a gift card to it! See there on the right hand side of the gift? I attached a little gift card holder to test it out and it was perfect!
