What you’ll need to make Chocolate Peanut Butter Chex Mix : (amounts below in recipe)
- powdered sugar
- unsweetened baking cocoa
- Peanut Butter Chex™ cereal
- semisweet chocolate chips
- peanut butter
- REESE’S PIECES Candy
- mini chocolate-covered peanut butter cups
I found this at Walmart but I’m sure it’s at other stores as well! This was in the baking section next to the chocolate chips. If you can’t find this, you can just add some Reese’s pieces and mini peanut butter cups to the snack mix! I just like this because it’s all the candy I need in one bag (other than the mini chocolate chips)

Which Chex cereal does this Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chex Mix use?

Can Chex mix be made in advance?
It sure can! That’s one thing I love about making Chex Mix! You can make it in advance and store it in an air tight container for 4-6 weeks!
If I’m making a chex mix in advance that has marshmallows in it I normally stir those in before serving because I have a fear of stale marshmallows haha.
