This week’s Finishing Up Friday Menu Plan is about recreating a take out classic! We’re featuring a Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken as our main entrée and serving up some perfectly cooked air fryer roasted potatoes and Copycat KFC Coleslaw for our sides plus a summer time favorite of Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad to end the meal!
Welcome to this week’s Finishing Up Friday Menu Plan! We’re planning on making the coleslaw and dessert ahead time and then we’re making the chicken and roasted potatoes at dinner time.
This Friday’s Menu:
Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken – No greasy frying mess here! Nope! We’re baking itin the oven! This Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken is a perfectly cooked chicken breast that’s seasoned and cooked to mimic fried chicken!
Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes– Since we’re using the oven for the Main Course, we can utilize the air fryer for an easy side dish. These crispy Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes take about 15 minutes to “roast” in the air fryer and make the perfect side dish!
Copycat KFC Coleslaw – Love KFC Coleslaw? This Copycat KFC Coleslaw recipe is my favorite version and is great for cookouts and family dinners! This can be made in advance and kept in the fridge.
Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad – Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad combines sliced strawberries, sliced bananas and banana pudding to make a chilly southern dessert salad! Easy to make and easy to love! It needs to chill for about 2 hours so if you have to work on Fridays you’ll want to make this Thursday night and pop it into the fridge. Just give it a good stir before serving.
