Delicious dinners shouldn’t be limited to the weekends. Even though I love to cook, I’ll even admit that most weekdays I’m looking for the quickest dinner possible.

Now that we’ve moved closer into town and I am actually getting home at a decent hour I can start making dinner before 7:30pm! YAY! I can start dinner at about 5:15pm now but that doesn’t mean that I want to still be cooking at 7:30pm!

Oh and I don’t know if you noticed or not but Today is Valentines day. Which means you’re probably going out to dinner or your planning on making something special at home for your sweetheart. If you’re still looking for that perfect dinner, this one is always a hit here! ….That is if you’re celebrating Valentines…. if not.. um…. sorry.. You can be my Valentines and I’ll make dinner for you 🙂

BigBear is actually “drooling” at this post as I’m writing about this Pork chop, I have a feeling I know what he wants for his Valentines Dinner. Thankfully this is a 30 minutes meal 🙂

Garlic Pork Chops with Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
These Land O Lakes® Sauté Express™ Sauté Starters have been pretty helpful with our weeknight dinners lately. A fantastic dinner in less than 30 minutes give me extra time to spend time with my family and get onto what I need to do for the evening. (I feel like we are always on the go around here)
Garlic Pork Chops with Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
So far, BigBear and I have tried the Land O Lakes® Italian Herb Sauté Express™  and the Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Sauté Express™ and I have the others in the fridge waiting to be made into yummy dinners!
We made Bacon Wrapped Asparagus to go with our Pork Chops. Take 4-5 spears of asparagus and bunch into a bundle.

Wrap one slice of bacon around the bundle of asparagus.

Place bacon wrapped asparagus bundles on a baking sheet. (I made 8 bundles)

In a medium/small skillet melt 1 Land O Lakes® Garlic and Herb Sauté Express™ Sauté Starter squares over medium – low heat.

Once melted, pour over the bacon wrapped asparagus bundles. (if you want more sauce on them, melt another Land O Lakes® Garlic and Herb Sauté Express™ Sauté Starter and pour over bundles)
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until bacon is cooked.

Remove from oven and serve as a side dish.

** while the bundles are baking, cook the pork chops**

For Pork Chops

In a medium/small skillet melt 1 Land O Lakes® Garlic and Herb Sauté Express™ Sauté Starter square over medium heat.

Once bubbling, add pork chops to skillet.

Cook pork for 4-5 minutes. (or shorter if you’re brave)

Flip pork chops over. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until pork chops are done.

(according to the USDA, pork is done when it reached 145 degrees).

In a medium/small skillet melt 1 Land O Lakes® Garlic and Herb Sauté Express™ Sauté Starter square over medium heat.

Add mushrooms. Saute until mushrooms are tender.

To plate:
Place pork chop on plate, top with Garlic and Herb mushrooms.

Serve with Bacon Wrapped Asparagus.
