This post and recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.

Healthy Watermelon Popsicles

It’s hot here. It’s HOT in the south, y’all. I don’t know if it’s even hotter to me this year because I’m pregnant but I feel like the heat smacks me in the face and drags me to the ground ever time I step outside.

So I’m working on all kinds of ideas to cool down this summer.

Healthy Watermelon Popsicles

Now I know this week of #SummerDessertWeek is all about summer desserts but that doesn’t mean that I have to post all things sweet.

I mean don’t get me wrong, sweets in the summer are fantastic but since we’re in the middle of all things sweet I thought that some Healthy Watermelon Popsicles would be perfect today.

Healthy Watermelon Popsicles

These Healthy Watermelon Popsicles are made with three ingredients. You’ve got fresh watermelon, fresh lime juice and local honey mixed together before being frozen into these tasty pops.

Healthy Watermelon Popsicles

How perfect is that for a super easy dessert this summer!

Hey Y’all! Don’t forget that we’re 3 days into #SummerDessertWeek! Have you found a new favorite yet?

Can anyone translate 2 pounds of watermelon to a measurable quantity such as 3 cups cubed watermelon?

It’s about 2 cups BUT I say that and at the same time it would be hard to tell you exactly how many cups that 2 pounds of watermelon would be because it would totally vary depending on how big or small you cut the chunks. I would suggest getting the pre-cut or pre-sliced watermelon or using the precut in the store as a guide because it has the weight on the package. But when I don’t use the pre-cut slices, I just use 3-4 1-inch thick slices/triangles of fresh watermelon.

Do you think agave would work as well as honey? I’m out of honey and want to make these soon!
